greatkidsCT is your one-stop location for finding resources
on topics of importance to Connecticut parents. The site is designed
to improve access to information on learning, parenting, and health & safety for parents of children from birth
to eight.
Sites included in the database are selected using the following
criteria:
- Primary audience for the resource is parents or those providing
support to parents.
- Sites created by state of CT agencies or of particular interest
to parents in the state of CT.
- Sites approved by greatkidsCT CT Advisory Board
- The source of the content of the site is listed and the
source is reputable.
- The author of the information is noted and a mechanism is
in place for contacting the author or sponsor.
- The information on the site is current.
- The site is free of extensive marketing or promotions related
to products sold by the creators/hosts of the site.
Initial funding for greatkidsCT was provided by the Child
Health & Development
Institute of Connecticut, the William Caspar Graustein Memorial
Fund, and the Connecticut Council on Developmental Disabilities.
It is sponsored by the Connecticut State Library
